Thankfully whoever designed the level also did the camera work for the replays so that was half the battle over. I just recorded 1 full lap with Fraps and also a section of the lap from the inside the car. Shot the bits together in Adobe Premiere Elements and compressed it with Divx :)

I'll have a go myself later then. Personally I find that track very difficult compared to even driving a fast lap on the 'ring.

Hi guys, ordered myself a G25 and bought GTR Evo on steam to go with it (been away from pc sim racing since Grand prix 4 and toca 2 days whats that 6-7 years :D)

Anyway can someone give me the low down on what i need to make this sim even better.
What addons are recommended?

The good forums for mods? etc

Going to have to buy a new ironing board after re-reading this thread :) I output from my PC to the 32" TV and I used to use my ironing board to mount my wheel/shifter of the G25, seemed to work but I had a flimsy ironing board, need to look for a more solid one :D

I'll get a pic of how I race tomorrow.
Currently in my mums house with a tiny bedroom, so it is very cramped but pretty good considering the space I have. lol. Nice and solid and doesn't wobble at all :)
 
I don't really play this so much these days, moved onto iRacing

However there are good mods available for it;

SimRacingWorld is a good place to start

Also take a look at NoGrip. Although see it's already been mentioned

The best source of all things sim related is RaceSim Central however it has been undergoing maintance for several months now, should be back up soon hopefully.

Finally a great source for sim racing news, including new mods for various sims is VirtualR.net

There's a porsche 935 mod out recently but I haven't tried it.
MMG F1 2007 isn't too far off I think
 
Just got this yesterday and I have to say the brief play I had was great. Was getting around the Brands Hatch Indy circuit in the F3000 in about 43.5 seconds :D. Had a quick go in some of the others, they all felt a lot better than in GTR2.
 
Feeling dissappointed by F1 2010, so I loaded this up and was amazed how much better it is... IMO.

I didnt want to get the wheel out and to my surprise, was more than playable with the 360 pad.

Anyone fancy some multi player EVO tomorrow night?
