GTX 660.

I really cant believe it beats a 7950 on BF3 on Ultra with 4xAA, if that's true then it's very impressive.

Best to read a number of reviews and make up your own mind rather than focus on one or two. Some review sites are bias towards either side and show different results by using older drivers etc.

I wouldnt be surprised if the 660 matches or slightly beats the original 7950 at 800MHz in BF3. That card is half a generation old now though, and the refreshed 7950's will comfortably beat it in most games, and overclocked will thrash even an overclocked 660 due to massive headroom on the 7950.

Still, I think the 660 is a decent card for its price, far better value than 660TI.
I would still take a 7850 over the 660 though just because I am an overclocker and the 7850 has massive overclocking headroom too.

Well what's the point then if they're all reporting differently? It's just a guess then if it will be better or not.

BF3 gives different relative results dependent on the area in the single player story where it is tested. You will find that a less intense area like Going Hunting is used by many websites as it is easy to test, whereas the TechReport uses a slightly more intense area(hence the lower framerates too). Some will use different driver sets for both the AMD and Nvidia cards which further complicates things.

Also,TBH,sadly BF3 single player results may not tally with the multiplayer results,as seen with the CPU tests! Anyway,Nvidia usually has the edge with BF3 this generation in the single player game at least IMHO.

Okay, looks like in other games the 192bit bus width really affects its performance.
