***GTX 780 Ti Owners Thread***

My brother in law bought a leaf blower and used it in the garden to dust his pc and he reports it was a big dust cloud lol worked so well hes gonna keep it.

on a side note i have my first Nvidia 780 TI on its way will be delivered tomorrow. Having tried 3 290x cards and had various problems and after 6 weeks of hell, i spent the extra monies and went Nvidia.
Heres hoping for a better experience and more gaming time.

Lol, kind of gross how much dust can collect inside the PC, will do mine more often now. Have a soft hoover attachment and hoover of the outside of the case regular, but it still collects in the inside like a mofo.

Good choice on the 780Ti, I have tried all the cards and it's my fav as well. Will only replace mine with 20nm stuff when it eventually comes along..

Also consider KFA2, fastest UK RMA i've ever had.

I sent my 580 and it was confirmed faulty in under 24 hours since i sent it, got upgraded to a better 580 also.

With EVGA they got my card on Friday, and by Monday I had a new card (From Germany ).

Probably boosts to nearly 1.2Ghz then
Isn't that loud? My ASUS only spins to ~1500RPM under load at stock.

O and also the coil wine from these cards is loud! Debating weather or not to send them back or stress them to try get rid of it.

Zero coil whine with my 780ti.

All my previous cards have had coil whine. I was lucky this time. Mind you, I upgraded my Power Supply at the same time.

Are the evga acx 780ti's voltage locked? There's no way of getting over 1.2v?

Yeah they're voltage locked.

Just the Classified and and Kingpin I think, though they get set to a constant voltage.

If you can get one that runs 10-15C cooler and is quieter then it's not very surprising
