***GTX 780 Ti Owners Thread***

Would anyone buy B grade? I wonder what the returns reasons are, bad overclockers or noisy fans?

I am tempted.. slightly Mmm

Sometimes it does its a lottery. The risk is weighed up against the saving. An EVGA gtx 580 I bought b grade when registered with EVGA showed as having 3 year warranty.
I returned my Gigabyte 780ti as it showed artifacts in 3dmark and Heaven.

from my experience I prob would never buy a b grade GPU again but I wouldnt hesitate in buying a b grade motherboard as I have bought a few and they have been fine along with a great saving.

I tried a GTX 780Ti GHZ edition B-grade around 3 months ago and it was an unstable overclock.

RMA'd to get the SC ACX to which I've had no problems at all.

Took the chance, didn't work out

Out of curiosity what speed did you manage to get with the GHZ edition?

I have a non-GHZ version which boosts itself to 1163MHz but I can only add another 20MHz before I start to see artifacts.

I think i might take a punt on a B-grade card.

There are two choices though, standard OC windforce or the Ghz edition. The Ghz edition is only £20 more expensive.

Maybe some of these cards are bad overclockers, and for that reason have been returned. I can't imagine they would be unstable at the stock speeds!

But couldn't one just RMA to gigabyte?
