Recently downgraded from 290x Trifire to a single 290. The only thing is that the 780 Ti may end up being much better value and not far off 980 performance from the leaks. Will wait for benches which hopefully will land tonight.

Hah, sweet, $599 for the 980, as opposed to just over 900 for the Titan Black.

I've recently built a new PC, been using a Sapphire R9 290 & am disappointed with its performance in (hugely modded) Skyrim, plus the noise, & was toying with buying a Titan.

Any ideas how much of an improvement a 980 will be over an R9 290, & I wonder whether the Titan prices will fall?

As the 980 now has 4GB rather the 3GB of a 780TI, I reckon a Titan becomes less attractive to people wanting something with more than 3GB.

Titan Black is still king until Titan II or full fat arrives.

thats a non reference design. It is some sweet ass nerd graphics card porn

It's got a stupid 'X' of plastic making it hotter/noisier and anything with a turbo button rather than, say, a bios switch loses several points in my book. No thanks!

(Yes, I know the boost button is a bios switch, but labelling it boost makes it lame :p)

I was wondering why did they skip the 8 series and went for 9? Naming conventions nowadays from both companies get trickier and trickier like when they jumped from 9800 to 280

Hidden links are hidden for a reason, hacking URL's is frowned upon.
Can't believe I'm being accused of hacking, anyone with a brain cell can just look at a product and move the product number by one, funny you can't do that with any other retailer - flaw in your system procedures. ;)

That's the first time it's being picked up on, previous years people have posted URL's and no one said boo to a goose.
