The Gigabyte Windforce and Gainward Phantom are both great value at well under £400. EVGA'S SC ACX is £400 if you want to stick with them.

As for the difference between the 780 and 780ti, the big one for me is the £200 higher price tag. Have a look at some reviews of the 780ti to determine whether the price difference is worth it to you.

If your after a 780 just get stock, They cool and clock very well, As for the "Ti" it has 25% more cores and a 1GHZ higher clock on the memory *7GHZ* so making it roughly 10-20% faster than a standard 780 in various benchmarks/games, Think of it as a 780 on steroids :p

Thanks Flax, will look at review

The GTX680 has eaten anything thrown at it, until BF4 :(

Needs an extra 1GB RAM me thinks, so upgrade is for another 1GB of RAM rather than FPS increase

May get shot for saying this, but considered a HD7950?

I would like to know at what resolution he is playing at before telling him to downgrade to a 7950, just for the 1GB extra of VRAM. The game is new and supposedly optimised for AMD, Nvidia will have better drivers out soon and Dice will hopefully sort out any issues.

If a 680 is having performance drops at 1080P, I guarantee a 7950 will have the same.
