This is actually very good advice.
Yep, matching leathers (belt, shoes, watch strap) is a big plus too.

Now you’ve seen sense, try here when you’re in Bond St. They also have superb shirts:

One in calf leather, plain branding.

OP try Bottega. Less in your face belt. Better quality leather.
Unless you are a millionaire i see no reason why you would pay 200 quid for a belt it's outrageous. These designers must be laughing all the way to the bank. The only way that sort of price would be justified is if it is unique and a one off.
Slightly better. But not much and still all a bit OTT. Just get a plain leather belt and spend some money on a good suit, as mentioned before. Also get the suit tailored to fit you properly. The belt should match the shoe colour. No this one :-

And definitely this :-

I thought long and hard and considered the association of gucci. Seeing the sort of people buying gucci belts on youtube made me think twice plus some comments here about going for more subtle, sophisticated look. Don't get me wrong I still like the gucci but going for class instead.
Only if you’re 60+ years old

It's down to priorities and mindset. From my perspective I could say unless you have given up on life I can see no point in watching TV as the 200 hours or so an average person (like most of my collegues) spends a month binge watching the latest several seasons of some mindless enteratinment as it could be better spent on learning a skill.
That is how I spend my spare time and one of the rewards for all the sacrifices is that in a few days I will going to the Montblanc shop like this on Bond Street :-
I can try the various belts on, speak to an extremely nice shop assistant. Pay £200, walk out, grab a few pints round Mayfair go and then do the same with the Burberry shop. I can spend £500-600 on the entire day and not worry as I work hard enough to make sure I always perform day in, day out. And the belts will be a reminder of my hard work.
BTW each montblanc is partly unique as it is cut to size on the spot and you can have your initials engraved if you want it
Gold ones look great!
Look back on his post history and you will come to the same conclusion as I lol. This really does have to be a wind up. Do you honestly think that people are questioning your poor taste because they don't have your income or work ethic? Definitely trolling.
