Guess the exact date and time HL3 will be announced

I'm not convinced Valve would announce HL3 at E3, even if it were in the works.

Not that I care - I found HL2 to be pretty dull :D

I wonder what they are waiting for? Scared that they can't meet the fans expectations after so long, or are working on a new engine? Maybe they don't think the fan base is large enough with todays development costs? Or maybe Gabe just hates the number 3 :p

Looking at it from a business perspective....why would they make it? They print money from Dota and CS. They have no need to spend money on Half Life.
 
Release to coincide with the end of WW3. It will require TRI SLI/crossfire for best visuals and the new 3 eye piece VR glasses valve have been working on to support people who grow an extra eye as a result of the radioactive apocalypse. AMIRITE?

HL, HL2, Ep1, Ep2, TF, TF2, L4D, L4D2, DOTA2... No 3s anywhere!

The franchise they have that has hit a 3rd game (CS:GO) has avoided numbers all together!

Maybe Mart has figured it out?
