Yea i see what you mean, it's harmless if no ones around posting but sticks out a mile if it's edited whilst someone is making a post, not really cheating i'm sure though, in this case i wouldn't worry about it as the answer is wrong anyway.

Yep it's spot the difference, but ignore the horizon you pointed out earlier find a difference and add the text bit.
I'm sure no one cares that much matey, most of the time when no one is posting it makes no difference whatsoever, it only may matter when someone has read your post and replies afterwards, but in the meantime you edit your post thus rendering their post a bit silly.
In the case of your post though considering you didn't have a guess previously at that clue and in the light of bigjimmyauk's response you may have been better just posting a separate guess.
An unfortunate occurrence that's all, don't worry about it, we ain't accusing you of cheating, but the odd wind up never hurt anyone.

You're quite correct i stated one guess per post, should have stated one guess per clue. This has been amended to read as below to avoid confusion thanks :-
4) One guess per clue and no further guesses on that clue until someone else has posted.
You are still allowed to guess at other clues (1 guess at each) either as a single post or separately, until someone else has a stab at them, whereupon you may guess again at the ones you had a go at.
Hope this makes it clearer to anyone posting now
