It does rather mean the clue doesn't make sense, "the third of these" indicating that the "these" in question is the answer. So how can the answer be wc3. What is the third wc3? Alternatively, what is the these of which we are referencing the third of?
It would be a little like saying the 2nd of these is our current queen. The answer would be Elizabeth (the second of them being our current queen) not Elizabeth II as there is no 2nd Elizabeth II

Hey I'm just following the rules that we had to get the actual game not just one in the series
Besides pedantism always ensures that an answer is accurate to the question in quizzes
Edit: actually looking back at it, I don't think that actually is a rule. For some reason I didn't think you could answer command and conquer for example, thought you had to actually get which c&c correct. So scrap that, seems you can, so wc3 would be right as its in the wc series.

Great games, DR and LoM are 2 of my all time favourite games (along with Dungeon Master on the ST and Bards Tale on the Speccy) , purely because those 4 games built the foundation of the fondness for fantasy and strategy computer gaming that has lasted me so long.
