It's Exodus : Ultima 3, Surfer. They looked quite similar but IV was way ahead of the previous one in terms of gameplay.

I think it's the C64 version, that's what I originally played it on, and it looks very familiar.

4 is definitely a gold box D&D game. Only one I've played through is Curse of the Azure Bonds and I know it isn't that. Could it be Pool of Radiance or one of the Krynn games?

Never seen 2 before so I've gave up on that. 5 looks like a cross between Xybots and Captive but again I'm stumped.

7 anything to do with Gauntlet?

Is it available anymore? I wouldn't mind a game on that.

edit- found a free download. It's available for free now! Nostalgia ahhhh...

nope 7 has nuthin to do with Gauntlet. (though it is a top-down view game same as gauntlet) But its an RPG kinda (ok that has to give it away)

Yeah was a great game from what I remember, although I was only 9 years old.

Tried compatibility mode too.

Or try using DOSBOX.

Will give that a go.
