Guild Wars 2

Got my replacement key From CJS this morning which registered fine. Not sure what was the problem and the reply took its time but at least they were polite and sorted it quickly after that.
 
Must say for no monthly Fee's the events in GW1 were fantastic.
Im hoping that GW2 keeps upt he track record for events/seasonal holiday tweaks as really made the developers stand out as caring for the player base.
 
I remember the first Halloween event they did, it was epic, never seen a game do anything like that before.

And I miss Gail Gray and The Frog. :(
 
I miss gaile gray too, the new CMs arent anywhere near as good.

Waaaay back when all the henchmen skill bars were updated, they were mostly based on my suggestions after Gaile asked me to make a thread with henchmen skill update suggestions, and she passed the info onto the devs :D

I felt special.

me too, it was fun just to be around her when she showed up in lions arch, everyone just swarmed on her or sat on the frog lol :D i was sitting where the frog used to be yesterday thinking about her leaving event and the frog rapping

There is a beta client however they said (can't find the link) there will be an updated client for the BWE. I guess this will be the same installer as the live version. The beta client is just a zip file rather than an installer.

Yeah, before the client I had kept getting updated.

Now though it hasn't been updated for a while so I'm thinking they have another client and got rid of the old one which everyone got hold of.

It must be somewhat close to a release state to allow the 'general public' (pre-purchasers in) and it's just in that final stress/polish phase. I doubt they would put it up for pre-purchase, start beta weekends if it's not close to launch.

By close I mean about 2-3 months tops. I'm guessing Late June to Early-Mid July.

Yeah I expect so. Open betas (which it is, anyone can get in by buying the game) don't usually last that long on most premium games.
 
Just two more dungeons left to do and I've completed my HoM :D.

Arachnis haunt and Heart of Shiverpeaks. Duncan was simple, I found two rangers who also needed it, we loaded up 6 damage bars plus a panic and one of the rangers on rupt duty, 1 healer, 1 ST, and got to Duncan fine. It took a couple of party wipes before we figured out we could just range him with longbows plus the ebon ward that adds 10 damage, and he doesn't even move or react (after spirit swapping).

I'll complete the last two today and max my last title needed for 50/50 :)
 
Arachni's Haunt is super easy, I run through that just for fun all the time, you'll steam roll it no fuss.
