It's a shame they didn't give out an extra key to active participants who could have then passed it onto a friend. They're more likely to get purchases that way than via random distribution where some are being farmed to be sold off.

I'd have happily given a spare one out to an OCUK member but haven't managed to snag a spare one for anyone .. yet.

During the last guild wars 2 beta I was at Download festival.
During the upcoming beta I will be visiting friends in swansea.

Thank you for posting that. Was going to pre-purchase this so as to get into the beta but now I can save myself a tenner and just pre-order it instead.

Looks like they have confirmed that the beta client will just update to the full client on release. I heard it on a woodenpotato youtube video.
