Guild Wars 2

ive downloaded the game through the provided link someone put on here, the wait is even worse now as i have the game here but no code!booo

Naw we will stick with what we have, I suppose the one thing is that in world PvP we will not meet them, but as we also do a lot of 5 v 5 we will fight them a lot.

Fair enough, I imagine if it becomes an unbearable situation for all of us, then we can move servers. Another perk of Guild Wars 2 there I suppose.

I have a friend who'd like to join The Immortals, and is planning on playing at release. Is it cool if I point him to the application and just have him note me down? No worries if you'd rather not, he can just stew on his own. :p

Gang, I was wondering if anyone can suggest a simple site to explain "race" benefits please.
I think I know my "profession" thief so far but would like my race to compliment if at all possible

again, any advice welcome :D

There are no differences in stats between the races, only a few skills. The devs have said they specifically don't want imbalance between races for certain classes.

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Racial_skill

That shows all racial skills for the 5 races. Racial skills are only usable in PvE.

Personally, I would just play whichever race you prefer, min/maxing really won't be as big a deal in GW2 as it is in WoW for instance due to the lack of meters and for the most part a lack of a reason for meters.

The racial skills are also not as strong as profession equivalents, they are mainly there for lore/flavour etc.

I think stats are all the same between races, so it comes down to story, looks and racial skills (which can be found here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Racial_skill ). There isn't a huge deal if difference and all are viable so in my opinion, play what you like the look of and what you think will be fun.

I'm seriously considering putting myself into a coma until the 25th. :o

Luckily I'm busy at work, them getting married (delaying me playing until the 30th ) so I'm sort of distracted but still want to be playing this now :p

Enjoyed beta so much I just want to get stuck into it! :D

No thats great more mates in the better, we not a OcUk guild, we may have a lot of people from here, but we being going for a long long time, only reason people from here get straight in as they being very mature for the most part.

The guild needs to be a friendly happy place where people want to talk and do things with each other (in game :p) and so it needs to have RL friends in the more the better :)
