See what I mean? All people need to do is show information from the sources.
Then any question about who's right and wrong is dismissed, avoiding a lengthy discussion that could've ended in the first or second reply.

Remember, you are the one who posted "Ignore anything about performance by 6xx users" yet have not even been able to show there was even a specific problem addressed with a specific fix. Why? Because it does not exist.

You sucked up some generic fix by some customer service representative that they copied and pasted and lucked out that it resolved a generic performance issue.

But thats not much to do with this, the guys who posted a fix helped someone, I have no idea why sin then decided to attack him over a post that was meant to help and in fact did help, sin then went on to say that is no posts about this on any forums which by my posts proves he is clearly wrong even if I did not use the best example, and yes there are others out here.

The problem is you think he attacked, he was simply stating that it is not an nvidia issue and you all jumped on him. The fact you didn't expect him to back up his point is odd, wouldn't you? (You did - without evidence, tried to and still haven't.) Edit: Just like swtor discussion, I'm out of here, anyone can read what I said and judge further.

Ok so growing tired of him I spent 5 minutes googling myself for any hint of what I was saying and found this... in 5 minutes. Found here: GW2 Guru link click me!

Why use old drivers? The latest beta drivers are 304.79 from July 3rd. Older nVidia drivers have a known bug that results in lower performance in GW2.

Agreed on the bad fps nevertheless. Generally it's got much better from previous betas but not in events. Bigger ones are still a slideshow for everyone involved. It would be sad to see the main draw of the game, massive events and WvW, suffer from low performance.

There are countless more accounts of the problem with high end nVidia cards in this thread many of them reporting that they changed no settings from BW2 to BW3 yet have worse performance.

So erm yeh top marks for your google skills Sin Chase, I will take great pleasure in placing you on ignore and never having to deal with reading your rude posts again.

Remember, the issue is GTX680 4GB with performance issues, what you linked is GTX285's and Crashing and overheating.
Absolutely zero to do with what the discussion is about.

Guys, I had terrible FPS in the Beta Weekends, basically it was a nVidia issue.

I changed the nVidia Digital Vibrance from 50% to 60% in the control panel and I doubled my FPS! Try it it might work for you!

I also swapped out my Pentium III, 512Mb SDRAM for a new i7 motherboard bundle with 8GB of RAM but this is totally un-related.

Anyway, tonight I'll be checking performance and update drivers, I'll try to mention usages and not "it ran fine for me" because whats fine for one is not for another ;P

I also understand "known issues" doesn't mean everyone.

Apart from your 'fix' is obviously a lie with the sole motivation to not look stupid on the internet. My fix was genuine help to try get someone's game working better then it did before which it did by the way. What's more it was a specific driver version fix which people may not have known about.

You were the person that said there's no mention of nVidia problems with the game on the internet. I find somewhere where someone else I have no relation to confirms this and yet you still won't give in.

I'm done here, sorry to everyone for having to read these childish posts however I take issue with people who bash others when they were only trying to help.
