Guild Wars 2

That must be something new then as you couldn't do that before, had to go mists and join that way :)

Need patch notes!

Yeah it worked in the last for me, it was introduced in BWE2 or 3 and has been much much better. It's much more simple than going mists then faffing around, you press b and choose join PVP and can choose between the 4 bases to spawn.

You can also do it while in the overflow.

I have an i5 760 at 4ghz and GeForce 470. I had to turn the graphics down a bit as my fps didn't seem that good :(. I should have used Fraps to find out the fps properly.

I imagine it will get better with time due to optimising etc. I've found that with other mmos.

If you go to the options graphics menu it says your FPS in there! :)

While you're waiting:

Today is the day. Arena Junkies is now featuring Guild Wars 2 in addition to World of Warcraft. We took a long time to consider and have seen many games get hyped and fail to deliver, but we strongly believe that this will not be the case with Guild Wars 2. The strong focus on competitive sPvP and tournaments, the growing scene with high caliber players from many different games now starting to play GW2 and the recent beta tests have given us high hopes.

Wish they would display sometihng saying you were in WvW queue, it takes so long half the time I'm not sure if its just bugged and not even put me in :p

Must say WvW, whilst fun, is a complete skilless verg and very frustrating when you are on the receiving end :p

You can do nothing to prevent it and it seems bigger zerg = win, especially without the trinity set up which allowed smaller, well organised units a good advantage.

I am surprised. Thought I was getting about 20-30fps. They've added an fps monitor in options, and I am getting 110 on having everything high. Very surprised, but happy about it, won't need to buy new components afterall. Perhaps they optimised the graphics better.

One of the options when being 'out-zerged' is to split up. If they are running around as 1 big group then split up and attack multiple of their places at once. The map is big enough and there are plenty of targets, so you should be able to attack other targets. Although if you are playing with loads of random people, chances are everyone will just follow and it'll end up staying as 1 group instead of hitting many things at once, but that's why guild squads will be fun :)

It may be at first, until the "men get sorted from the boys" so to speak, what happens when a equal zerg meets and equal zerg? At first... it's just a mess.
Until, hopefully, guilds use tactics within themselves.

Or not.
