Guild Wars 2

So, for us pre-orderers (not pre-purchasers) who get to play 1 day before official launch, what time can we log on? Given that 1 day before launch is bank holiday monday, it would be awesome if I'll be able to play during the day.

I would assume 8am Monday, 24 hours before the official launch.
 
I'm slightly annoyed about my decision to change my Saturday off for a Thursday. Wasn't really thinking. :o


Then again by the time I get back no one will have got anywhere. Every one will still be flaming/whining/crying over log-in armageddon. :D

I'd just like to add, don't let bickering on here put you off. On the guild forum and on mumble everyone is really friendly. Don't feel under pressure to start doing guild stuff straight away. I'm just going to go on Mumble and have a chat with people while I learn the game on my own I think.

TBH if people can't see it's the same 4/5 people having a pop whenever the opportunity arise, and that you don't ever see anyone who is in the guild and has being for a long time ever having a whine about us, then maybe we not the best fit for them.

There are loads of other guilds which I think would be a better fit for this person, last thing I/we need is someone coming in thinking we have problems, first thing that goes wrong, as such things do, it will hah yeah look.

When I preordered my standard copy from Amazon I'm sure it said it included the early start but now it's saying it doesn't.

Ah well, at least it gives me a bit more time to try and complete The Witcher 2.

Conveniently my hotmail account got blocked last week and they are taking absolutely ages to recover it, so I can't read any of my emails.

Does the pre-order early start require a code to be put in from the place you bought it from then? I received my copy today, installed it and registered my account - assumed that would be enough for them to deem it a pre-order and allow me early access. I guess I'll just have to try on monday and if I can't play, so be it. Will probably be hungover anyway ._.

They're not even sending the copies out 'til the 28th I believe which means by the time I have got in there will be nobody in the starting areas..

Ahh well, atleast it will give me time to finish off various things I should have done weeks ago.

Wow that very poor TBH, whenever I used them they were pretty decent.
 
Mine, and a friends I had to buy it for as his wife doesn't like him playing games :D, are processing for dispatch so hopefully will be here in time for the proper launch.
 
I was pretty set on a Charr elementalist, but now I'm not so sure. Wondering if Norn or even Sylvari would be a better way to go - which would be a real break for me, since I've always avoided the poofy, elf-like races where possible.
