Guild Wars 2

For all the people struggling to get XP. Go to the other race starting areas.

I'm a norn so ive been working my way through those areas, but i've also been exploring the human areas and doing hearts/events there too. Even did some of the Sylvari starting area too.

Just go through the portal in your home town which should get you to Lions Arch. Once there you can portal to any of the starting areas. Once you unlock a portal there you can go back at any time.

Well seems I still have a number of display name accounts that was created when I tried to sign up and register my early access and the stupid support team have still not responded to my problem :(

Anyone had to use the support and had a response?

Game are useless, They have started opening two stores in the same place again also (two open in the metro centre again)

Anyway. Just ordered mine. waiting for code now :)

Tell me about it, should have ordered from somewhere else but I thought I'd use the last of my game points to get a few quid off. School boy error, back to shopto with my business.

Yeah I have only had good experiences with shopto. If I don't buy it via Steam then that is where I get it.

Game aren't learning from their mistakes and still remain completely incompetent and uncompetitive. If they continue then the troubles of earlier this year will repeat themselves.

Enjoy GW2 when you get online:)

My story arc hasn't yet told me to go to any other starting zones yet.
I don't even know how.

Maybe GW2 isn't the game for me, I find mindlessly running around hoping I trip over something that give me xp to be tedious, especially at the snails pace characters move in this game. In most games you have to be affected by a speed debuff to move this slowly.

I'm also really disappointed with the quest system in the game, most quests are about 2 lines of text long and give me very little context around what I'm doing. It's not engaging me at all with it's stories.

If you don't like it dont' play it, but you can't be that far into the game surely? Or you've overplayed it and bored yourself rigid already. The map is a dead giveaway for where XP is likely to be, I love not having a huge quest journal and not having to do constant a-b-a-c-a-d-a travel try quests.

You do know you can warp between areas quickly using the map and waypoints? Literally one side to the other in about 2 seconds using these, you rarely have to run for more than 30s to get anywhere.

Guys, at which point should I be getting decent gear?

I'm cruising around in shoulder pads I have had from the start, about 50% of my armor is the original stuff as well. Starting to feel a little sting when I get hit :(

Level 15 now.

Has anyone come up against some impossible quests yet? I've been stuck on the same story quest, Tribunes for Effigy or something, since this time yesterday. I've cleared 6 areas since and still haven't been able to beat it...

Very much so! I'm a level 19 warrior, and I've completed the Norn and Human 1-15 areas. I've been back doing my personal story quests and sweet mother some are mentally hard. I'm scaling back down from level 19 to say level 11 and nearly getting 1 shot'd by some of the bad guys. A fair few people are complaining in game about difficulty discrepancies. Out in the world I've got no problems, just seems the personal story quests that are giving me the bother.

Excellent find!

Those struggling to level are you exploring?

During beta I never fell behind the xp arc by doing the quests, events and exploring.

Away until Thursday before I can play, will I get on desolation now or is it just too full?

im exploring, crafting, visiting home lands for other races, doing events more than once - the lot and im never the correct level to do the main quests always 1/2 levels behind.
Im about to go do WvW to see if that helps matters.
