well you're not signing a contract talon, joining them doesnt mean you cant sleep for a week and must hardcore play 24/7.

No, its not.
He's been streaming every second of it, but he's been playing constantly since release with only like a 4 hour break total :p
 
If everyone seems to be choosing Desolation as their home server is there not a risk that WvWvW will become incredibly boring. We had the whole map yesterday I think. What's the best 2nd home people are rolling too?
 
Having taken an elementalist to lvl 12 and decided it wasnt for me after all, i started on my ranger and have just hit 20 myself. Some parts of this game are staggering good , but some parts are just frustrating.

I love the levelling system and the way the game flows , and the pvp i have found enjoyable too.

I hate with a passion the trading system and the fact you HAVE to mail people things and cannot trade other than this , it is especially frustrating when the mail system is down and not working. This is my main gripe and im sure will not be something most people care about but it seems a backwards step to me.

Then theres the bugs , which there are many, ofc this happens in most if not all mmo launches but i was expecting this to be a better smoother less bug ridden launch than say for example Rift which i think has been one of the best. 4+ hour downtime on first day followed by no guild system that works in a game called guild wars isnt good.

They seem vigilant and are fixing things, and this isnt a hate post at all , im very much enjoying the game overall, but that doesnt mean the things that are wrong can just be completely overlooked.

So far the games solid and fun for me and I plan to continue playing, heres hoping they can smooth out the bugs and adapt the trading system.

I've only tried pvp with my rifle warrior so looking forward to in your face style combat. I've been stacking equal toughness and power for pve, only times I've died where from falling off things :)

Apparently people are now hitting level 80 through crafting. Now they need to back and do the hearts so they can earn renown to buy things lol.

I think they'll trim back the crafting XP a lot soon, you could easily level up alts via mats bought on the auction house tbh.
 
Not very impressed so far but have only just started playing, would like a bit more guidance from the game really.

I like the idea of the Ranger at initial glance, having cool pets with me... I want me an eagle!

I am used to being a healer though and I know they don't really exist in this game as no "holy trinity" - but the "spell caster" classes look cool - elementalist and mesmer
 
no set healer classes but guardian have the most heals I think, I wouldn't go elementalist because like 75% of the people who play seem to be them, but it's your choice :P ranger are fun, im enjoying it.
