Guild Wars 2

Really peeved that my disc didn't come in the post today.

There are no discs with retail versions.

All you get is a CD Box with a code inside enabling you to download the game, the only benefit from ordering from a retailer is that it is cheaper.

yeah but when was the last time non subscribers could just go to a website and grab a beta key for wow. Eurogamer have like 1000 of em. I don't even play it and I can now lol anyway back on topic, so I have to stick items in the discovery window to find new plans?

Yeah its easy just add an item and it will show u what can go with it ur get large xp + crafting points for every new item

Hey guys! I and others were in on 3 day access however another friend has started today and our server gandara is full, so am i right in thinking transfers are free for now? So he can start elsewhere and join us later?

Free for the first 7 days. Although I am unsure if that is 7 days from headstart or from launch. I joined a random low pop server first and just kept checking for a spot to come up in desolation throughout the day.

There are discs :D

My retail version arrived on Saturday, installed from the 2 DVDs - still needed large download though

What the....really? omg i paid £50 on the main website mainly cause it had early access, i thought retail discs didnt exist, i looked on play.com and other retailer websites which all stated that you'd ONLY receive a code \:

i could have paid £35 and got discs and saved myself £15 and 2 days of downloading. Amg noooooo. Fumin'

Yes, but you've probably been playing since Saturday, I won't be playing till wednesday.

I am on a low pop server and we are getting stuffed in the WvWvW battlegrounds due to being outnumbered. With this in mind, is it worth staying on low pop ones if you intend pvping, do you think they will do something to sort the balance out?

Please do tell...

As besides Minecraft I cant really think of any other games which cost less than £35 at launch and you can spend 100+ playing.

CS:GO. I don't remember the last time I paid over £35 for a game at launch though, there's always a good deal on somewhere.
