+1 having a blast levelling, farming and hooking up with mates at all levels
WvW can be a huge time sink and has not level requirement, I will defo enjoy the adventure as long as possible and when end game comes can take it from there
Even more so in GW2, I've been happily exploring and questing in my own time. So much more fun and less tiring.
If you have room id like to join if possible, getting very lonely out there on me tod lol

Good to see some progress with the Trading post. I bet leather squares don't last long once it's up though. From what I experienced of the trading post in the beta, it's really well designed, you can put your requirement for mats on there at the price your willing to pay if they aren't available at the time, then when people come to post those mats they can choose whether to accept your price or not and the transaction takes place automatically.... Fantastic!
Tier 1 is good, but damn expensive.
The cultural set is overpriced. Don't bother going for it. The only time it is worthwhile in my opinion is much later on when you have tons of money and may like the look of the items and want to use them with the stats of other items.
At 40 you can get the next trait book for 1g, and at 60 the final one for 2g, so keep that in mind when thinking about spending money on armour that will get replaced in a few levels anyway from drops.
It costs an arm and a leg and karma gear you will find from doing hearts at that lvl will be just as good. I regret buying, only managed to buy 3 peices but then didn't have 1g to buy the skill book at lvl 40

I have T1 legs, gloves, boots and shoulders but found a good lvl 40 chest and helmet (before I could afford it) as they are indeed expensive. just spent a gold getting my second level book. Not sure if it's worth getting the tier 2 stuff =/

Cultural stuff is all for looks imo, at least T1 and T2 are, only buy them if you think you will use Transmutation stone later on (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Transmutation_Stone). Sure they have ok stats for that level, but they will be replaced soon enough.

Anyone know where the best place is to purchase a digital edition? Just looking for a key really, so my gf can start playing as soon as possible
I did some re-search and found that all digital copies were sold out, Google for more info, had to buy hard copy for my brother.
Wouldn't mind knowing this myself. Engi just seemed a bit underpowered and really fiddly, didn't really like the way kits worked - felt like there needed to be a quick switch mechanism for kits, since they don't have weapon switching.
I didn't really give it much of a chance mind you, only got to around 12 before moving on.
In the beta i remember an event in wychmire swamp, where we fought this big guy and when he died he left a great big chest with loot in.
The only event i have come across, that gives good loot is thaumanover reactor plant when the fire ele is beat.
Are there any instances you have come across that give loot like this, im level
27 now and thought i would have come across more?

Norn area has a Son of Svanir boss that tries to summon a big ice beasty, if you kill him in time you get a chest from him.
Queensdale has the Shadow Beast event, again you get a nice big chest from that.
Asura have the Fire Ele (way OP evil evil) boss that gives a chest.
I'd assume the Charr and Sylvari areas have a similar event as well, but I've not seen them yet.

CJS-Keys it seems. Although me and others have been burnt by them, when they got a dodgy batch from a supplier. It seems they have now sorted it out, although they are selling it for £53 which most other suppliers are doing as main site is not selling currently so demand has gone up.
