Guild Wars 2

Overall I like TB and watch most of his videos.

I know he is called the Cynical Brit, however I often think he is too focused on the negative aspect of gaming rather than the positives, although that may well be part of his act.

Sure, he readily admits he's like an american shock jock, in that he probably does feel that way, but he over exaggerates things. I couldn't care what he posts on forums or who he upsets. I find his wtf and terraria series entertaining.

Guild wars 2 is looking good so far. Now my mmo cherry has been popped by swtor I'm actually looking forward to it. Something I never thought I'd say about an mmo

wow at the number of people breaking the NDA, hope they catch ya.

Why does it matter to you if people break the NDA? it's their account and they are free to risk it if they want to, and giving out info to people who are not lucky enough to get a key is good IMO.

20-30 mins to kill a boss on hardmode. That tells me this game is not for me.

Why would they ever not make a tank/healer class in this game

So I don't have to wait hours for a tank or healer to come online.

Make every one in the group equal, and bring more skill into the game. Every player can think for themselves and be responsible for themselves.

I welcome role-less classes :) Its different and allows for fluid dynamics mid-battles.

Looking forward to release day. Playing from level 1 on each beta will be annoying. would be nice if there was an option to try a level 30+ character.

The original due to mixing up professions opened up lots of possible builds. Maybe too much as they were forever fighting off solo farming type builds like the 55 monk and Shadow Form assassins.

That was absolutely nothing to do with the mechanics of the game and everything to do with Anet completely ignoring them. 55 monks could have been fixed in 100s of different ways but instead Anet just made tiny little changes to slow it down which was too little too late. 600 monks could've been fixed too but instead they simply made them less effective but still totally broken. Shadow Form was no different, they ignored that skill for so long that it completely ruined every sort of high-end PvE.

The games getting slaughtered on it's combat and performance by 'top' players from other mmos due to the whole use skills at right time is a load of ******** and you just use everything as soon as it comes off cool down.

Not really a shock.

They are making the game so that everyone can take part in mass group combat across the whole map meaning they need to tone it to the lowest common demonanator or the rubbish players will find it unplayable.

Flipside is for anyone who is half decent it becomes a faceroll, essentially like wow and every other mmo out there :(

Top end wow isn't really faceroll, if this is the optimal dps rotation is to blow everything as it comes off CD it is going to be arse. Really disappointed by this, also hate the knockeddown mechanic instead of dying.
