Guild Wars 2

Leechers will also die. Pretty fast. This game is completely unplayable if you stand in mob agro range and do absolutely nothing.

Leeching was never an issue in PVE in GW1, but it was a huge problem in PVP. Their recent solution for it which wasn't tested at all was ridiculous - if you stand still for too long you get dishonourable points.

Thanks so much anet, having a runner / smiter / healer Mo/P in jade quarry is a strong winning tactic, and his role is often standing still to heal the NPCs at captured quarries, and also staying there to watch them for future attacks.

Im also quilty of loading the game up and trying to login, then listened to the music and was like wow this music is amazing, even my finacee who is a music teacher was really impressed with the big dragon logo and music :D

"Personally, during the dungeon's Story Mode I was not killed (defeated) not even once and we admittedly completed the run quite fast. Listening to our jokes about how pitifully easy this mode was, the developers showed no mercy: they threw us head first into the unfathomable depths of Explorable Mode.
Now, I have to admit that the situation here was tragically hard. Sure, we were 5 levels below the suggested level for this Dungeon; however it became evident that during Explorable Mode every step counts. The booby-traps were set up very ingeniously, mobs were coming against us wave upon wave, while some bosses employed skills that could one-hit kill you. After a lot of tries, tons of destroyed gear and numerous travels back to town for repairs, we decided to give up our attempt, completely defeated and convinced about one thing beyond all doubt: the Dungeons' Explorable Mode can satisfy all those who seek something challenging in the PvE part of Guild Wars 2."

One reason this game is going to be brilliant: Every time someone brings up a possible negative someone has the answer :D

More like one reason to be skeptical, as the pre-release hype infects everyone just as it does with every MMO that is going to take over the world, yada yada. Everyone is singing the praises of an MMO when it is purely in its marketing phase. Hold your breath :x

Just started it up to have a listen and I agree.. The music is great and even better i will have the soundtrack CD with my collectors edition. :D

I'm intrigued, what were you doing in Umbral Grotto all day, bhavv? Not that I'm stalking or anything...

My main has been afk in Gate of Madness for the past 7 hours - 738,000 xp gained with zero effort. Now I can't sleep and I'm due at work in 3 hours :/

Sounds cool, nice to know people were struggling doing the content

Since theres only dynamic events does that mean were gonna get something similar to Rift's raid rift, were we can use a item to start a event? otherwise its surely gonna be random?

And I think I might play Engineer, they look awesome in the videos

Whoops, I cleaned out my download folder for the first time this year. Didn't realise it had downloaded the client there. I was ignoring all the confirmations for deletion, no wonder the whole lot was 30gb! Better re download now.

It's incredibly simple. You grab a team comprising 2 necros, 2 rits and 3 mesmers, enter GoM and fight your way to the rift portals. Once there, go through the lower gate and work your way round in a clockwise direction closing portals as you go. Leave the last portal alone, it spawns a pair of titans every few seconds. Just position yourself where the titans will agro, then leave your heroes to it. Pop a triple xp scroll (it will never run out as you're always within the 30 second limit) and roll in 116 xp every few seconds.

I'll post a link to pvx when I get a minute.

(edit) here you go: http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:Team_-_AFK_GoM_Survivor_Farm

Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can!
