Yes to the question, anyone from here applying become instant members, as so far everyone bar one from here has being great, yeah I'm aware of the other Immortals guild that popped up on same server.

One of the reasons im seriously thinking about changing the guild name is there are now so many Immortals guilds. Its also why I have moved away from using the Immortals domain and now use www.mmo-guild.co.uk or for this game www.gw-mmo.co.uk.

We may very well be The Travelers or something ...one day, only issue is our history but I'm beginning to think thats not reason enough.

Should have just picked one char and stuck to it :(

Leveled a Warrior / Thief / / Mesmer to 15-20 this beta to try and decide on a class for release and I can't pick between them D:

Warrior feels like a sturdier thief, little clunky - but huge damage output and the ranged weapons make it feel much more fun as a ranger to me than the ranger class - even doesn't have a crappy pet I have to res every 30 seconds.

Thief is just hella fun, so much mobility, so much damage -- blink about all over the place going to stealth... I condition damage stacked it again and its pretty amusing shadowstepping in, 2x deathblossoming with spider venom up then shadowstepping back out again... tonnes of fun.

Mesmer I just feel indestructable as, I have 3 stuns, I have 2 ways of gtfo'ing one of which breaks immobilizes and a bunch of illusions confusing people. Damage output can be a bit situational, during keep attacks/defences your phantasms and shatters are basically useless so a huge portion of your damage goes, but still, being that unkillable in an mmo is always fun :D

Cheers, I think I'm going to stop playing Beta now, played pretty much every class except a thief which i saved till last and it is awesome, I'm considering going thief now as I leveled an elementalist to level 14 but the feedback from the melee combat and the rogue/thief skills feel so much better then the ele I leveled :)

Any feedback from any ex WAR players? As flawed as it was I really enjoyed the PVP in WAR for the most part (helped I was in a very very good guild) and hope GW2 is similar / better. Does it feel "real" or is it as meaningless as WoW PVP felt
 
RvR in WAR didn't work. It was 2 factions for a start, so straight away it was fail before anything even happened. But the zone capping including that zones PvE and BG results as well? I hope somebody lost their job for that idea and a whole bunch of other people did for implementing it. Then the major RvR things you worked towards in the citadels and cities being instanced to small groups of players... such underwhelming cr4p.

GW2 It's hard to judge fully... it blows WAR out the water for sure. But atm WvW is a bunch of inexperienced people who don't know the maps or the mechanics, most of which haven't got 2 traits to rub together let alone how it will be with lvl80s, so yeah, how it will evolve will be very interesting.

As we get closer to launch and the end of the Beta weekends we're looking to increase our handful of players into a much larger Guild.

We'll be playing on Desolation along with Wab's Guild but as yet we are undecided on the name.

We never try to take things too serious, but we always have room for fun, idiocy & serious playing of equal measure. So we're looking for some over 18 players from all over the EU who'd like to join us in GW2 on release.

Cool we can maybe end up sorting WvW runs, always nice to have more involved.

we just put up our GW2 recruitment video, not that its needed it just fun :D

I really am loving this game. There's always this honeymoon period with most games but I'm seriously expecting to love this for a long time.

Been doing mainly pvp this weekend to avoid pve and the stories/quests etc

Then finally, after 3 BWEs I've just headed into WvW......amazing fun!

For those that always say "I miss Tarren Mill", this is for you. Don't let the fact it's instanced turn you off, it's awesome, and so much fun. I ran forward for like 20 seconds and came into a fight with about 70+ people. We pushed them back, built a golem, caterpult etc and broke down their keep. Really have to try it!
 
I didn't need any beta events to convince me, and after 1 event it feels kinda pointless to do so. After all everything you potentially do will be reset :p
