Guild Wars 2

I wish I had taken some proper screenshots now because this game looks awesome for an mmo. Lion arch's is the most impressive place I visited.



The colours and visual style remind me of the game Enslaved: odyssey to the west

That honestly looks simplistic, it looks like from watching the first 5 minutes on his hot bar, when melee he spams Heartseeker (even at full hp) and doesn't apply the bleed or vunerabily from the other skills much.

Then again, you don't need to if you're outnumbering your opponent :P

The HS spam is to close distance when SS is on cd, not a bad use of it, but he continues spamming it even when he is on people and they're on full HP. DD/SB and maxed trickery from his build is very condition damage orientated -- don't see him stacking anything on anyone however which is a shame. But he definitely takes advantage of the mobility of a thief and uses a complete set of custom binds, seems to have reasonable enough reactions, after a few months of him playing the class and learning it properly hes going to be formidable.

When I say HS spam, I didn't mean to gap close.
It's also what DD is for but he does use that when he figured out using HS 3 times in a row won't cut it on a running target :P

It's a bit of a complex ability to use. On the surface it seems it's main use is as a gap closer blink ability to get you in melee faster most thief's at the moment use it as this and disregard the steal aspect of it.

However it's actually much deeper then that. In PvP there's a total of 16 different abilities you can steal, 2 for each profession you face. So in order to utilize the ability you need to know exactly what you can steal from each profession and then know how to adapt and use the ability properly. Basically it's something thief's will get much better at months into the game.

They're birthday presents. Each time your character reaches another year old, a present will spawn in your inventory and you get a random mini.

There are a few ultra rare ones that are prizes for PvP, elite areas and from the collectors editions.

Yeah but the Sainburys one is a pre-order which may not arrive for release, where as the GMG one is a pre-purchase which you can start playing on the 25th.

In the end some people want to start early and others won't care.
 
Can't believe it's a bank holiday too, that means I only need to book 4 days off to get my full week! :D

Even if you're not really paying attention to what it is you've stolen, you should be using that for the shadow-step alone... the whole point to play a thief is the mobility, if you try and tank people down you're going to have a bad time, if you try and just run people down you're going to have a bad time.

I ain't having much luck with the website;p Not sure if it is a problem with the form or maybe I'm just having bad luck.

Signed up, and created my account. Unable to post on any forums, including the Application forum. I've completed the Join us form twice now like you suggested.

Not sure if it is my account or Win 8's IE 10 which is causing the problem as I've had issues with other sites with it:)
