Guild Wars 2

Yeah, I went to register.guildwars2.com and managed to screw up and accidentally made a new account (I used the wrong email), and I can't be sure I linked my Hall of Monuments correctly either.

Basically I have to accounts now:

1) Beta code, GW1 account email/linked
2) Retail code, not 100% if they're linked

Sent off a support ticket. :(

look in hom and see if you got the 2 points for linking the account, simples :D

Just pick one from that list, there plenty of decent guilds listed there.

From the site that lists guilds against servers, Desolation appears to be the heavy heavy UK favourite, with Gandara also UK specific (but quieter).

Apart from WvWvW server choice is irrelevant.

Hi all,
As we close up to GW2 release we have sorted out the guild invite system for Saturday, please try stick to what we have arranged as there is close on to 200 people to get invited on the day!
Remember to add you forum name to your email.

A B C D E F - if your name begins with any of these letters, send a in game email, not a tell, a in game email to Dist for a invite, only one message per player please.

G H I J K L - if your name begins with any of these letters, send a in game email , not a tell, a in game email to Lain for a invite, only one message per player please.

M N O P Q R - if your name begins with any of these letters, send a in game email , not a tell, a in game email to Oberyn for a invite, only one message per player please.

S T U V W X Y Z - if your name begins with any of these letters, send a email, not a tell, a in game in game email to Nemeses for a invite, only one message per player please.

Invites will go out in the order they arrive, it may take a few hours from time of you sending your in game email before the invite arrives, so please be patient! Yes I know we labored the point of it being a) a email and b) it being a in game email, but we know how people skim read then scream they were not invited
NOTE: The names may change as we may log in to find our chosen name taken so if after 4 hours you have not got a reply/invite check the forums to see if there has being any name changes

Please do not send tells, especially to me for a guild invite, get the name of you officer and send him a in game email when ever you log in, as we said could take a few hours before the invite arrives. (tho most likely be a hour at the most at the start and then a matter of minutes).

Example Name Blounty, begins with a B, so he would then email Dist, not send a tell not whisper me, send Dist a email
Remember to add you forum name to your email.

Think I repeated it enough now

As we have so many from here thought I would pop this in here as well.

I thought there was one with people from this thread. Never mind. I sort of have a home with my old GW1 guild but the guild is 100% Serbian of which I am the exception. I was hoping to find a mature guild and obviously know we have a good crowed of people here.

I guess we the un-official ocuk guild now, but you've left it to late :p, 2 of the guilds listed above are in a alliance with us so its very ocuk based, grap one of them http://www.gw2guilds.org/view-alliance/25

The Immortals(Wab's guild) are the unofficial OcUK guild for GW2. I usually help to set up OcUK guilds for MMO releases(SWTOR, RIFT etc.) however I realised they took lots of time to set up and they often died out very quickly so it was much easier if everybody went with a guild that has been around for a long time and has voice comms, forums etc. all set up.

Can't wait for release, saw enough in BWE1 to be happy with the game and had a bit of fun in BWE3 but don't want to spoil myself. The load tests are great and all but too transient.

Got prior commitments on Sat, Sun, Mon so that sucks; but happily also have the week after as holiday. Going to log in early Sat to do some name reserving then pick it up Tuesday.

In swtor we must have being 60/70% ocuk, in gw2 even tho we have picked up a few more from here, so there will be more ocuk'ers in the guild I think its gonna be more 50/50 between ocuker and the unwashed :p (and by the unwashed I mean Blounty :p)
