Its guilds that just happen to have ocuk members in, we have a lot some that joined for sw.tor and stayed with us (in fact think we only lost 2, one we kicked) and we have picked up quite a few more for gw2, I'm guessing we got anywhere from 70 to a 100 from here, out of a guild that has roughly 140 active members.
 
Is there anywhere selling the digital standard edition for near the price of the retail edition?

I can get the retail edition for £35 and the same but digital edition is £50 on the official website. Would rather wait than pay over the odds by that much.

If you are in multiple guilds, keep in mind that you can only 'represent' one of them at a time, and so will only be helping out one of the guilds with influence for use in upgrades. Also there are no custom chat channels, meaning you can use guild chat for the guild you are representing but you wont have an easy way to communicate with other guilds you may be a part of.
 
Been doing a bit of reading/watching. All looks great and something I'm going to take a punt on - went for the digi deluxe version and downloading the client now.

If it's anything like WoW was went I tried that on release I doubt I'll be playing for long (hated it), but this looks to be something a bit different. Fingers crossed. :)
 
I played on Desolation in all the BWE's and the queues were already a problem, and after looking on http://www.gw2guilds.org/servers/eu I'm defo going to change to a less populated one.

I'd probably be interested in joining a casual guild with other OcUK peeps, as long as there's no fuss or 3 page application process malarkey! I just want to be able to login and enjoy the game !
 
So it's the big day tomorrow! What time are you guys getting up? I think the servers are live from about 5am.

BTW any Sylvari looking for a guild check out the sig :)
