So let me get this straight, I can start a character on an Eu server and if during the first week notice that there are always queues can transfer to another for free?

We (me&wife) might create a new guild on Desolation. We had a guild in GW1 that ran nicely for about 2 years (until we quit the game), cleared everything on multimple caracters, made lots of friends, had good fun.
I'm aiming to have a relaxed guild, matured people (>25s), multicultural (we speak 4 languages), keep drama to minimum while exploring everything the game has to offer. I've played so many MMOs for so many years and frankly I got fed up with spoiled kids, know-it-all demi-gods and "impressionists"; so no place for those.
I'm putting this here as a different choice: if someone feels they're guild wars newbs, older and/or not wanting to rush it, you're welcome to join, who knows... :)
Gonna decide a name after consulting the chief tonight...

Guys I own the GW2 CE, I tried to login to the launcher with my email and password but I receive an error stating I am not authorized. Is this normal?
I logged into the site and checked my download client page and it says Guild wars 2, nothing about CE etc.
 
i emailed tesco about my concerns for the 1-2 week dispach email i got so they emailed back with a pre order code for me so i set up my account. I just now got another code for early access???? like some people above so now I have setup another account with the early access code.... lol

costly mistake indeed!

You cant login on the client as its not up and running yet.
 
Was hoping the servers would go live like at midnight for us Europeans... Like that I could play through the night... Having to get up at 5am is a pain in the ass as I will never wake up even with my alarm, plus the missus will kill me if my alarm wakes her up!

Fingers crossed to them switching on the servers earlier? :)

Yeah, but after the early access is over the characters on that account will be gone? If I am reading your post right and the early access isn't on your main account.

If that is the case the head start is a bit of a waste, unless you want just to check out some different classes.

Of course I might be reading your post wrong, and I'm just confused:)
 
What time is everyone waking up tomorrow then? I'll be online at 6am although the servers could be up as early as 4am, not going out tonight so I'm not tired tomorrow and by sheer coincidence I have 3 days off work the start of next week which is not something I'm complaining about xD
