Guild Wars 2

I'm keeping an eye on this thread, not made my mind up yet if its worth buying,I know the only way to find out is to buy the game however are the queues long for logging in?
Apart from the authentication issues today, logging in is very quick and easy (usually have a small patch to download which takes a few minutes). Depending on which home server you choose you may find yourself frequently on an overflow server for a little while.

The only time you may have to queue for a long time is WvW.

Buy it within the first month at any rate. At the moment, the zones are all crowded, and whenever an event kicks off there's a load of people around to take part, revive you, help out and generally make a world a busy and interesting place.

Give it a month or two and I'd imagine things will be a lot less fun without the masses of people all joining.

I have a busy three weeks, but end of September I've time off to buy and play it,I hope it does not turn out like TOR where it was busy the first month but population went down after.

I normally take my time in MMORPGs,don't rush in leveling but like to enjoy and take time to learn the new things the game has to offer.

Something wrong with guilds? I noticed influence isn't being gained and no upgrades can be purchased today.

Ours is still fine it seems, we spend us much as we can (well almost speeding up research) and think we got around 65k right now still :D

Running the GW2 Repair didn't fix it. I can't think how this occurred as I was running the game fine just a few hours ago. The error also throws up a webpage for Guild Wars 1 saying you must have overclocked your processor or your temps are too high. This is not true - CPU/GPU are hovering around 35c at stock.

The sole thread I've found with this problem is here: http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/56297-guild-wars-2-detected-a-possible-hardware-malfunction/

No resolution thus far, even re-downloading appears not to work.

Fixed it - switched nvidia drivers to 304.79 beta. This seemed to work alongside a few restarts.

Level 65 now.

Any fast ways to go from 65 to 80? I'm thinking crafting, but not sure if it'll take a lot of money to do.
