I think it's going up in price at a lot of places, just had a look at our local gamestation, I bought it for £40 they are now saying 'coming soon' and it's at £50.

Yeah, I have heard of tons of cases of people complaining about CJS and probably 90% of them are about refunds.

I have bought 2 games from them (incl GW2), and they were fine, but if they screw up and you want your money back it is a pain.

Yes and as explained this was a genuine mistake by the guy, he didn't know he was buying and selling keys from a supplier who had obtained them through stolen credit cards. He didn't give refunds right away until the whole situation had been assessed but everyone did get a refund in the end. It's now one of the biggest key selling sites, you don't get that big if you're dodgy.

Rebuilt mine last night.

went from a badly-behaved Q6600 to an i5-3570k.

My HD5850 is my new bottleneck :D

Incidentally, even without a GPU upgrade the game does 'feel' smoother on the i5.

Maybe that's just the result of a win 7 reinstall, but I'm happy anyway.

Does anyone know if the game re-assesses your system? I didn't re-download (game is on a data drive, so wasn't reformatted). do I need to have a manual tweak with settings to see if I can push it harder now?
 
I went out to buy the retail game today, came back and went to login on the offical site to register my key and...

It looks like gw2 is already on my account, I can download the gw 2 client and in the top right there is a serial key, what must be a gw 2 serial.

I have not registered the serial in the box.

Have I had gw2 for free??

Ah, no...logged in and got "this account has not got gw2 registered blah blah"

Oh lol.

I think I might starting doing story missions, probably 10+ levels over the current one due to exploring and getting stuck in the level 40+ map and constantly running from Centaurs lol.

The experience from them really starts to ramp up! Definately worth it and the story is actually really good IMO.

The one thing I love about Centaurs is that whole 'skid thing' they do when the charge past you. It's a great touch.

But they must die. All of them.
 
I'm currently lvl 17 with my ranger and really enjoying it. I'm just wondering if there is any specific build I should be following. I've just been putting my points anywhere really without following any sort of plan! I'm mainly using long bow with axe and war horn as alternate and I've got 3 pets now, couple of dogs and a spider :) I'm still in the starter area and just got one more heart to complete the whole area then I'll be moving on.
 
So far i have been doing the thief as an azura - the traits I have been going are:

Condition Damage
Condition Duration
Crit

With all posions as my skills lol I love it but still trying to get the best set up for weapons. Any1 got any tips for them?

I love this game but I keep getting distracted but doing other things (which is good)
What I am really struggling with is the leatherworking but that is just because I am short on leather and Jute I have a lot of the other mats while I have been leveling.

Gonna finish off the area I am in and start the Char starting area. Am I doing this correctly or is this just do what ever you like because you get scaled Stats wise while in the area, or is this only downscaled???
 
For my ranger, the first thing I did was unlock all the weapon skills using the various things that dropped for me.

If you've not tried it yet, I suggest giving short bow a try. The secret to using it in 1-vs-1 seems to be getting in really close for the poison fan (2 attack) - if all 5 projectiles hit the same guy, he's in serious trouble :D

Im stuck where the big boss spawns and the nice chest in the middle (love how it respawns). I should really finish crafting too, as im stuck at level 40.
 
Ach well, after all the trouble dear Shamikebab went too for me, it really doesn't look like I'm going to be able to play this game much, if at all.

Bloody real life!
 
Just got a copy from HMV for the gf, £40 compared to Game's £50 for the same thing and two doors down in the shopping centre - crazy. Still, at least she's got it now :)
 
I've been around manchester looking for this and can't find it in HMV or Gamestation. It looks like it is out of stock in the usual onlne places and there's no digital download.

where can I get this from?
