Over here a black and tan is guinness and ale, usually bass export or smithwicks.

mmm, yep. On second thoughts I think I was talking ball sacks. Sweetheart Stout and Ale, that sounds more like it. Sweetheart Stout is very similar to Guiness, it's what I used to use when I worked in a bar many years ago (No Guiness). God knows where I got the Blackcurrant from, I blame getting old :rolleyes:

Irish Car Bomb --> 2/3 (about) pint Guinness, and drop a shot glass with 2/3 Irish Whiskey and 1/3 Baileys into it. Drink before it all becomes a congealed mess. It's quite lovely really.

Hmm conflicting sayings for drinks....

I know black and tan is a bitter with guinness say john smiths.

A baby guinness is tai maria and baileys

wrong, baby guiness is actually kahlua + baileys - ive worked in bars for over 5 years

Quite close to here, a Turbo Diesel is half lager, half cider, blackcurrant cordial and either a single or double shot of vodka depending on how stupid you are feeling.

Guinness and Tia Maria is nice, tastes a bit like chocolate. I don't know if it has a proper name so I just have to order a G and a separate TM to put in it.
