Just played this for the first time round my mates. He's a lot better than me and failed the Lou battle first time, and I passed it.. he wasn't happy 
Through the fire and flames actually killed my arm, I'm in serious pain right now, but I passed it, so yay.

I have GH3 on 360 - got friday night, connected the guitar & played it at a mates house flawlessly for an hour or so. Have got home tonight and tried to connect it up to my XBox and it won't connect! Have rebooted the guitar, XBox, done everything in the right order but when i press the guide button on the guitar it just flashes at me and doesn't sync with the console - HELP!!

Just hold down sync button on controller and front of 360.

Had enough of this game now and I'm probably going to sell it on the bay. It's just too crap. I mean I like Keane... but wtf are they doing on it. There is too many crap songs. The fret positions are crap. The hammer ons and pull offs don't actually relate to the song and just seem to be chucked in to make it more default. The guitar is a piece of **** and the removable neck is pointless and just causes problems. Multiplayer hardly seems to work with me (NAT = Open) and if it does they just pick TTFATF which they can't even play, they just pick it because they like that song. The game is waaaaay to easy. I shouldn't be able to complete tier 1 - 7 without failing a song on expert. Then they must have realised this and made tier 8 incredibly hard to make up for it.

Nooo, don't say that. I'm geared up to buy this tomorrow as I can't stop playing the demo WITH A PAD!
Seriously though, are there real issues with this game, should I get GH2 instead?
For the record I like all the songs that are supposed to be in it and I'd probably like all in GH2 aswell as it's my type of music.

played the demo....on Expert is ROCK HARD !!! without the guitar using the pad is well confusing especially when it uses the top shoulder buttons instead of the colours on the pad.
What's more confusing is that Bass guitar has 5 buttons ??? Eh ?

I'd never played GH before this game. I played it on easy and haven't failed a song so far. Once I tried on medium all of a sudden I lost all co-ordination I previously had! I could hardly hit a note once I had to play four frets. Must go practice!
Hopefully it will get easier, a good excuse to keep on playing and annoy my wife

If you haven't played GH before or don't own GH2 then buy GH3. You should be really happy with it. The only reason I'm not it because it's a downstep from GH2 in my eyes.
Keane aren't in GH3??
Because it's a good guitar track. The same reason the other 70+ songs are in it. Miss Murder by AFI is a crap song, but the guitar is brilliant.
