Guitar Hero 3

ok, im only playing on easy (will move up though as im hitting 150 streaks) but this rocks :D
 
It's quite good seeing all these people who've never played a Guitar Hero before and commenting how good it is. Brings back fond memories of when I first played it.

Great game.
 
the bonus thing is, i dont normally like most of this music, but playing it in the game is great :D

I thought largely dull and boring to play :o
 
Thats the thing. GH2 opened up my music tastes. But as I have already said, most of the songs in GH3 aren't the best. Fingers crossed rock band will full fill me
 
GH2 just gave me more bands to hunt for :)

My musical tastes are already pretty daft tbh.

Would upload my winamp playlist to demonstrate but I neevr bothered setting up my pitful 20mb webspace :(

You know I've always had an interest in the GH franchise but every time I think yeah I'll buy it I get a voice in my head telling me it's time you could spend learning how to be better on your real guitar - someone make the voices stop :)
 
Got mine today and completed medium :) Had a few problems with my control to start with, its got something rattling inside it and my green and red buttons were abit dodgy at times but seem to be ok now after some hard pressing and hitting lol.

Anyone know were Sabotage is or how you unlock it?

You have to enter the cheat code if you want to play it by yourself as it's on the co-op career.

Ive been lucky today, played around ten games and lost once and im pretty average at the game. Did manage to get the Beat Your Maker acheivement, which in the descritption says beat one of the makers of gh3 at their own game. Played him on face off, me at hard and him playing at expert level, some of the passages he played flawlessly were just mind boggling :eek:. I play a fair bit and am comfortable at hard, it must take an insane amount of time/skill to get near some of the playes out there.

Anyone know if GH3's Les Paul work with Rock Band and Vice Versa ?

I only want to get 1 kit and don't want that many guitars.
 
For those of you suffering from the loose fitting neck, there is some good help available from these links which were placed on the AVforums by 'Guns'.

One shows a simple fix, and the other requires you to unscrew the neck to do the mod; but I have done it to mine with no problems in under 5 mins, and now rock steady. As mentioned in the thread, a lot easier if you unscrew the first 4 screws instead of just 2 as mentioned.

Simple (Blue Peter type) Fix:
