++Guitar Hero World Tour unoffical thread++

I know I opened mine up on webcam for mates to see. They couldnt believe how big it is.

The guitar has a annoying squeak but its built really well. Really like it and will be selling my les paul because I think it's ass.

Drums are awesome. Had no problems with them yet.

Songs... pretty boring at the moment. But there are some killers like Beat it and Motorhead.

Loving it so far anyway.

Beat It has been my favourite so far, and Today - Smashing Pumpkins (but mainly cos I absolutely love that song haha)

Suits you Sir! :)

(not trying to stir **** with image branding)

I havn't got any equipment at all, so would you reccommend buying the rock band set or the ghwt set? I'd probably get both games eventually

just been playing on the drums, the symbols **** me off so much, they just arnt sensitive, have to whack them really hard to get it to register.

red octane no about the problem and are sending out usb to midi cables to change the sensitivity of them through a program on the pc, so im gonna do that now see if it works.

played up to linkin park now on expert, bout 10 songs or so, not seeing how people say the song is detached from what u play on the fret board, just seems like the other guitar heros to me.

yes its a lot easier, seems like expert is actually hard from previous.

i like a couple of new things they added, still getin star power while your using it and the holding of notes while playing notes above it.

also not played a good song yet(imo ofc)

can someone post a list of songs that suffer the detached fret board crap so i can youtube them and see if i want this game lol, ive seen dammit that looks bad. but if its the songs then im buying the game for then i will be ******* off lol so cheers

I don't understand the complaints people have with this. I'd put it on par with GH3 maybe a bit better because of the sliding innovation. I'm stuck on what i'd imagine is the last song on expert (Van Halen?) Anyways, nice to see mr crowley on there. Now that is a beautiful solo!

I think Im gonna sell the guitar, I hate it - its horrible. :(

The squeak actually gives me a headache
Strumming feels awful
The wooden effect looks crap and its un-necessarily big and heavy

The drums however are great :D - I need to get that program to tweak the sensitivity though and they work with rockband 1 :D

how do you go about doing this? im sick of having to really whack the symbols

I'm going to finish the guitar career and ditch this definitely, I can't believe how poor the songs are. I've even stepped down to hard to speed up the process and stop me smashing the guitar against the wall.

i'm more or less an expert RB1 drummer, but i got halfway through the setlist and just stuck the drum career onto beginner so i can get my full band achievement and be done with it!

cant say on the road again on drums was anything but a pile of crap tbh. a snare roll for 3+ minutes, erm yay?

had more fun with guitar/bass but went back to RB and the colour and the shape DLC and GHWT has ruined my timing! :/

I love the look and feel of the new guitar. It's just a shame my up strum a knackered. The switch feels like they got it our of a cereal box. Very cheap and nasty.

The question is, who do I got to to swap it? Activision, or the retailer (high street, though I ordered online)?

On the up side. My drums are pretty good. No sensitivity problems, just a rattle on the red pad which I've solved by packing the seam where the top and bottom pieces of plastic meet.
