i will most likely get this and use my RB kit (and ION when it arrives), gotta have my sweet home alabama!!
some stuff looks interesting like the addition of open bass notes (oh god, its going to be like learning off-beat bass kicks for drums again!), but the overall presentation (silly lightning bolts, not a fan of the circular notes, all notes in blue under SP, cluttered fretboard) will keep it from knocking RB1 and eventually RB2, from being my preferred rhythm game.
also i notice for everlong on drums, the GHWT kit maps the hi-hat to the left cymbal which is fair enough but then you need to hit the snare with your left hand which isnt how its done on a real kit, what with the hihat being to the left of the snare.
even though it got mocked when it was done by HMX to chart the hihat to red in songs like that (everlong/rtth/orange crush etc), i can now see it makes perfect sense and feels more natural.

how can you make that judgement when the GHWT kit isnt even out yet? who knows how good/bad the ghwt drums are in terms of durability, the pedal doesnt look much better to me tbh.I have this on pre-order.
Its the drums I am interested in. I looked at RB but so many reported issues with the drums, these seem a lot better built.
