A mate of mine is riding for Max Cooper's Gumball Downhill Mountain Bike team and has been invited to the huge party they're throwing this weekend. There was talk of him blagging me and a few mates in but he wants to keep Pammy and Jodie Kidd to himself... :(

*mumbled cursing*

Im sure a certain poster on this forum wouldnt take to kindly to Jodie Kidd being with your mate ;]

Is bizatch running again this time?

Is the reyland team going this year?

IIRC they are banned for "dangerous driving"

I remember lonman said they where a bunch of cool guys on a forum somwhere then all these poncy ferrari owners piked up, saying if reyland are going this year they want their money back cos they aint risking driving with the reyland guys. . . . . . .

saying banned, i mean have to pay full whack entry fee, which is currently 40k sterling, you can get preferential rates (15k IIRC) if you have done it before, or have a collection of interesting stamps, or somthing involving a train, anyways, I hear the reyland guys have been told 40k or no way.

Just seen Eubank's truck in Oxford Street.

Might make my way down there on Sunday, as I'm not far away. Thanks for the heads up.

So we have a good few going. I'll prob get up there for 2 and then stay for the flag drop.

Any ideas on what cars will be kicking about. New exciting ones? Or just the normal lovely Lambos etc...

Would it be better to go when they are just parked up or for the startline?
It'd be better not to go at all and pander to the obsequious, narcissistic ***** that do these things, but I think you're better off going for the parked up display. ;)

Yeah the display is the one to go for but I thought i'd be nice to see the flag drop. Watch them start the voyage of points gained, money spent and liences lost.

Let it all be for entertainment.

The gumball site has been updated sometime in the last week, full race grid (give or take a few) is up:

http://www.gumball3000.com/html/news/grid.php

I can see an F50 and an F40 in there, couple of SLR's, handfull of F360 / F430's, Gallardos / Murcielago, couple of Nobles, and an Enzo, but no Veyron tho. Also worth a mention is the VW Sharan TDI and the VW Camper again.

Max Cooper is in a Ferrari 612 after auctioning off the 575 from last year.
