He puts his hand to his head, where the blood comes from, just before ducking down.

Not sure if it was actually gunshots or BBs or something.

The pic on the telegraph clearly shows his ear was grazed and bleeding so def hit by something.

Who ever did it has probably just guaranteed he will be re-elected.

No, on about the 2nd report he raises his hand to his ear as if he's been hit.

Would be my bet, the audio isn't great quality but doesn't sound like gunshots from a proper firearm and if it was muted by distance you'd expect to hear the buzz from the rounds tumbling not just a slight pop as you do. Plus no one else seems to be hit by anything potentially lethal despite apparently several objects flying past Trump.

He’ll get loads of support if this is an assassination attempt and you are assuming there were no undecided..

Secret Service not up to the same standard as their movie counterparts lol..
 
It seems he's had a very lucky escape. He turned his head to the right just before the shots were fired, and then got a nick on his right ear. It looks as though he will be ok and it's his upper ear lobe that has been hit. Unsurprisingly, he looked very shocked afterwards. He seemed in shock to me when he was raising his fist and shouting "fight". Let's hope he's ok.

He is a brave guy doing rallies like that. There are such large numbers of people that it makes it pretty high risk. I don't think I'd be doing open air rallies if I was him, it's too dangerous. I expect he will be reviewing this.
 
They were real bullets dummies, one of the cameras panned round got a view of a telehandler which was supporting a set of speakers and you can see it had the hydraulic lines pierced with fluid spraying everywhere

I think people believing this was a BB gun in America are probably on the lower end of craziness that is going to appear in this thread soon.
