Guy Ritchie's The Covenant

On it like a car bonnet, Needs to highlight the **** for leaving this good people and i sure it will.

I'll definitely watch this. I was just thinking the other day there hasn't been a decent war film lately. There was a good run a while back with The Hurt Locker, American Sniper, and Lone Survivor.
I will go out and assume you are on about more modern warfare movies? All quiet on the western front is a pretty damn good movie. That was only out last year.

I was meaning modern war films set in the Middle East. Would also add Three Kings and Jarhead to that category. I find they have a common feel about them, perhaps down to the contrast of war and good weather, as opposed to the gloomy appearance of most WW2 films.

Thanks for the recommendation I'll check that out too.

Personally I find Guy Ritchie films very hit and miss, will wait for the reviews on this one before getting excited.

+1 to all the above mentioned modern war films though, all very good, will also throw Kajaki into the mix.
