Guy Ritchie's The Covenant

Watched this last week, was really good and gripping in places. Quite sad to also think of the number of interpreters who worked for the West and have now been murdered along with their families by the tallies.

Watched it this week and it was pretty good.

It didn't reach the tension of something like The Hurt Locker, or the emotions of Lone Survivor though.

7/10

Enjoy this quite a bit, the guy who played the interpreter was excellent, was in danger of stealing the limelight from Jake whats-his-name.

He was understated, but at the same time ballsy when up against superiors without crossing the line, and turned out to be quite the bad ass with good ethics.

Surprised it was a Guy Richie Movie as the dialogue / banter was extremely flat. Decent action but loads of ridiculous scenes. AK with no stock and unlimited ammo was a highlight. PMC being able to call in air strikes xD
