To me the Steam forums are like Youtube comments, I've never seen the appeal anyway, and 99% of the posts are made by people who are a complete waste of space

Yes sir, some of them are making threads like "Bye Sony" just because they keep pushing it back. They will get really mad when they find out what EA means and the game will be pretty broken. It is impossible for them to moderate as threads are being opened almost every minute or less.

Does anyone have an opinion on what this will run like compared to Day-Z?
I love the idea of this sort of game but for me Day-Z always ran like total arse no matter what.

It is an engine that they custom built I believe so they should know how to code it. Unlike DayZ who strip bits out of a engine and then give it a new name and tell people it is a new engine

Haha that's what I mean't, for some reason I used past tense. That might be down to the fact the game is dead to me inside.
