H1Z1 - Zombie apocalypse sandbox from SOE

Hey man great to see a fellow Overclocker using my site, if you come accross any bugs or have any suggestions be sure to drop me a note :D

Looks awesome. Presumably there's no risk of getting done for hacking with the real-time location tool? Guessing it doesn't access the memory directly but types /loc, copies it to the clipboard then your upload tool picks that up?

Anyone else on this that I can add?

Wait.. you're not officertom in-game are you?

Users of my H1Z1DB.net site can now take advantage of being able to place markers on their squad maps from within game without having to tab out or paste /loc strings into websites. Updates occur in Real Time.

Our Windows tool "Upload Manager" has been updated to v0.5 and can now listen and act upon custom commands not just listening for your location change. It processes these commands and posts them in real time to our site and your map.

I've created a guide in the steam community to explain all the commands and setup of this new feature, in addition to all the other functionality we have available for you. Please take a look and if useful please comment / star / favorite etc :)

Enjoy :)

hey Xalin,

thanks for that, one thing though as i use this site and saw on reddit,

did you get confirmation from daybreak we are ok to use this without fear of a ban ?

i know it doesnt inject or interfere with any of the games memory but still would like confirmation that the method it grabs the data via copy and paste is safe with the games dev team ?

i know you reached out for a reply but i wonder did you get one ?

thanks in advance

Scream. It only reads your clipboard. You can close the game and copy cords from notepad and it will still work in the same way :)

Really is nothing to get banned for, the app just saves you from pasting the cords into the website, the game stuff you have done yourself.

yeh i know what it does, but i also know that daybreak also said they would ban people using hacks and im sur ei read somewhere they said this included realtime tracking.

Now i know this doesnt do that and i know exactly how it gets its coords, but what i dont know is what protection is in game and i just wondered if he head back from daybreak on the matter.

If not then ill just continue to use the site as i normally do, its no biggy for me :)

hey, long shot, i dont suppose anyoen can donate me a jeep or a truck that works on any server ?

i want to record a machinima tv series and need a car for the first bit of footage :(

spend 6 hours last night and came up empty handed on pve servers :/

Sadly I didn't mate, I genuinely don't know how they can ban you for using this (or even check if they wanted to). This is just another program running on your PC totally outside of the game, do you worry they might ban you because Microsoft Word is open? or your Logitech Mouse Software ?

This is my view of course and if you choose not to run the tool because of it I understand, feel free to click "rate" on my guide on steam still though :)

Hey guys, spent the last few days not streaming as much but instead worked on my first ever bit of machinima, take a look even if it is for a laugh :)

** Link removed due to swearing **

----------------------------------------¬----------------------------------

Echo Of The Dead :

Echo Of The Dead is a machinima drama series based in the world of H1Z1. This is the first time i've even attempted a machinima based series so go easy on me :) hopefully many improvements to come. All filming, story and editing was done my myself in my spare time between working, looking after my kids and streaming on Twitch.tv

----------------------------------------¬----------------------------------

Episode One : A New Start :

Alex and Dean had to escape their previous home, now on the road they try to work things out and discover a space place to stay. ** Note - Episode one was intended to be slightly longer but due to Daybreak / H1Z1 announcing we will have a new player character model ingame within days i opted to cut the footage as i wanted continuity across all the episodes.**

sooooooo tempted to get this, keep adding it to the basket then chickening out.
Is the general opinion that this is worth the £15, its hard to tell from watching people play this on twitch as whenever I seem to watch they are all just playing battle royal and it just seems that they run around for ages not seeing anyone? is it actually more fun that that sounds? what's the actual zombie survival side of it like?
I'm looking for a game to chill out on if I'm having a bad csgo day.
Thanks in advance.

Battle Royal seems to be the more action packed game type. The survival thing can get pretty repetitive. But just depends what you are after. I would say if you have Arma2/Arma3 already then maybe give some of the Epoch/Overpoch mods a go instead, they seem more in depth with their building mechanics, more weapons etc. Just my opinion though.

They can creep up on you and can pack a canny punch. I especially hate the ones that just start sprinting towards you.

lol yesterday had 2 wolfs and a bear after me ran in town and you see some guy come at you you just start laughing knowing that them animals are going to be lunching on him :D

Yeah I have Arma3 although I've not played it yet. Ill have a look into those mods and see if thats what I'm after if not will give this a go.

Many thanks Mode

Sorry me again, was watching some more of this on twitch earlier and it did look fun, is there a good player base for this game or do you guys feel its a game that wont last/stick around for too long?

I play it quite a lot with my brother, we havent tried battle royal though we like the survival part of it. I should also mention we clocked up a lot of hrs into Stand Alone and now that has been removed from our installs and replaced with this. I just hope they update it more often with new gear and such.

I do play on the London Server which a lot of people shoot on sight, what is the Birmingham server like? do a lot of people play on that one?

I only play on Birmingham, it never used to be that bad for KoS but now you cant go anywhere without having someone spraying a pistol clip into you (Even if you have only just spawnd and have only a bow on you), the two main cities I understand KoS but this is ANYWHERE on the map.

Loads of people running around as fresh spawns getting an axe and then just chasing people to try and get a kill.

Shame really because what really got me into this game was the RP side of it (Never done anything like it before) and when the game first came out it was amazing for this, now it's just turned into a BR even in the main game.

I decided to try a PVE server as I think that will be very fun once hordes are in the game, but all you get is people chasing you around shouting **** **** **** **** ***** for half an hour (seriously i just logged in the end) and you cant even kill them people... so....

As much as I like this game, I will probably not play much intill they add some type of Karma servers, where you really have to think if that person is worth killing or not.

*edit* Maybe it's the fact I am playing solo for constantly getting attacked without any notice, but the problem I have is who to trust with the base location and codes? And then waiting till that person/people can play before I can play myself? Already limited enough with 'game time' :p
