H50-1 problem

would like to get one of these watercoolers along with a C2Q, but my case only has 80mm fan fittings
is there any way around this?

a) Get a new case.

b) Make the hole bigger

c) Make a new hole.

d) Don't get a H50 cooler.

Use a drill to drill more holes to match the existing hole pattern for the fan grill in your case. Then, drill 4 holes at the proper points to mount the 120mm hole pattern.

next problem is that my fans are using clip in, not screws?
is there any way to mount the cooler outside of the case?

Buying a new case would be the easiest option, you will need to make sure there is a 120mm fan on the back of the case. I would recommend using Akasa Viper fans too for the cooling as they tend to be quieter and more efficient.
