Hackers on Crossfire

I am so frustrated at people hacking on Crossfire - especially between Christmas and New Year when there were hundreds!

The hacks that I know of are...

The Aim Bot
Chamming
One Hit Kill
Speed Hack

But what I would like to know, is the characteristics of each one - i.e. what to look for to be sure. Speed Hack is obvious, but it's annoying when people get head shots every single time or worst still - on ghost mode, know exactly where you are when you're hiding in a dark place, camping, look and shoot once in the head.

Then they start saying 'skills noob', which really gets my blood boiling because they clearly don't have any!

I accept there are pros out there, but surely even the pros of pros can't do some of the things that hackers do.

Also does anyone ever get banned and if so how? Surely people just make another account?

Not a great deal you can do about it really. As soon as you get someone on a server like that best thing to do is just hop.

Google 'Z8 Crossfire' and you'll find it. Look on YouTube for in-game videos (annoyingly there are a load of hackers who post their hacking antics on there too :@)
 
I remember years ago there was a spate of hacks on Unreal Tournament 2k3, and they would occasionally show up on the Insta-Gib servers. Used to take great pleasure in killing them, as it never really gave them too much of an advantage in a one shot kills game.
 
I would be surprised if there wasn't a popular FPS game that didn't have cheats out for it.Nothing new, people cheat, all the time, ruins the fun for most of us.

BC2 was the last straw with me, even when PB was "fixed" you could still see people being kicked every game I played. If it even caught them, so I find online FPS's very lackluster these days, just knowing out there, people are being complete morons, 13 years of it. Just spoils the fun for me.

90% of the time it's just people who are better than you.
I swear I was accused of hacking too many times on BC2 by idiots, I got kicked from servers too due to butthurt admins.

I saw in around 130 hours of BC2, maybe 2 hackers at a maximum.
 
What's the hack on CSS that makes the player spin? Or appear to spin. They run around a corner and kill everybody in seconds.

I just leave the server immediately. If all the players left every server they joined they would get bored eventually and maybe start playing the game without hacks. But no one ever seems to leave.
