Hacking the Matirx

I'm watching the new David Icke interview on http://www.consciousmedianetwork.com/members/dicke6.htm

Mind blowing stuff so far. He uses a lot of computer metaphors to descirbe the world we're in.

We're in a virtual reality and the physical world is an illusion.

Did you ever listen to the Icke intereviews on CoasttoCoastam? If not, they would be right up your alley. They are a few hours long each. Try to find Art Bell interviewing Icke, failing that George Noory. I suspect you will take a different view than I did (as I concluded Icke is a manipulative mentalist who ties himself up in knots and you will no doubt take his word as gospel however much it contradicts other theories you 'believe') but I think you would enjoy them.:) You can find them on youtube.

Sorry other OcUkers if I'm fuelling his fire, just being neighbourly!

I'm not really sure how to explain it concisely... it took around 10 years of video games design for the parallels to become apparent to me.

Nothing to do with the fact that modern computer games with their 3d rendering and physics engines are designed to be as near to reality as we can possibly make them then......?

Everything we design and concieve is probably influenced by our surroundings, its only natural as we are perceptive beings.

In the case of computer games we consciousely try and make them appear and feel like the world we know. Clearly this leads to parallels betweeen the two. However the world does not share design paradigms with computer games... computer games and all that goes to make them, share design paradigms with the real world.

I'm normally open to new and interesting ideas but this one is far to obvious and an open shut case to even warrant a real discussion?

I don't take Ickes word for gospel as there are some flaws in his perception of the Illuminati and some of his theories on 7/7. But most of what he says about the matrix and the world currently being controlled by unseen forces is true I think.

I've heard most of ihis nterviews on Coast to Coast. George Noory once had a competition where he'd listeners could nominate for a speaker to come back on the show and apparantly Icke won by a landlside even beating Alex Jones.

Ickes quite big in the US. Probably bigger than he is in the UK.

Once you cut through the psychobabble theres some interesting concepts in amongst what he says.

...if you're a bit retarded.

Not exactly original/interesting if you rehash an idea from a sci fi film. I mean the guys who came up with the matrix (the film) had a cool/interesting idea - the loonies borrowing that and saying it is real really need to get out more.

wow just watched a few minutes. what a boring ******* that guy is. why is anyone giving him any attention? he watched the matrix obviously and now hes babbling on about it being real. what a dullard.
