had a tooth out . aghh

Ive had a tooh out (back one) and omg it hurt, and it hurts like hell now, it was a good 20 mins of tugging at it and my god. isnt it about time they made dentists friendly and not hurt, if they can cut arms off and crap now without to much trouble, then why is a tooth so hard.!

Had this myself. Worst experience of my life.

And i'll admit to snapping my banjo aswell.

Had a rear lower molar taken out yesterday and my god my mouth feels weird now!

The actually extraction went ok and the tooth came out pretty easily, although it took 6 injections to numb me up.

How long would people say it takes for your mouth to get used to the new layout? It feels so strange at the moment as my tongue is touching a tooth that it hasn't done before if you get my drift? My jaw is still aching and I expect that to go within the next day or two, I just hope this strange sensation ends soon and I can go back to having a normal mouth again!

ive had 11 teeth pulled out and it was fine.

I had 3 teeth removed which did not hurt one bit. I also had corrective jaw surgery last september which involved breaking both my jaws and having them repositioned. My face swelled up to 4 times the size and it took a good 12 weeks to fully disappear.

I've had four teeth out and three root canals under NHS.. nothing wronig with cheap treatment

I had a Wisdom tooth out by a dentist a few years ago.

Q Anastetic injection No1: Wait 5 mins...arrrrgh...not taken effect yet.
Q Anastetic injection No2: Wait 15mins in reception with Nelson laughing at me. Go back in....arrrgh
Q Anastetic injection No3: Wait 2mins...that'll do...arrrggggh, the evil ****** carrys on anyway!!!!!! Tooth breaks in mouth. Dentist with knee on my chest with a pair of plyers yanking away at broken tooth THAT THE DENTIST BROKE! Tooth eventually removed in about 4 pieces.

Anyway. Off I go back to work. 3 hours later I am spitting blood all over the shop and decide to go home and lay very still.

i remember i had a wisdom tooth out. this indian dental surgeon did it, and half way through tugging and pushing and all sorts of frightening maneuvers, he looked up at a passing nurse and started chatting about the cricket with half his fist in my mouth. i realised right there why they still call it practising

Why have not not get better technology yet for these tooth extractions, its a complete joke tbh theres so many easier ways they could do it. ffs

I've had 9 of the ******** out overall, 7 when I had my braces out, they did it in two appointments, I had 4 out in one go, jesus christ it's not nice, the worse bit is after when you have a floppy mouth and really ache! My dentist was excellent though and had been doing our family since my mother was a kid, thank god I had them out then as he's retired now. Really weird when you can hear all the roots snapping > Worse than ingrown toenails I'd say.

I had both my bottom wisdom teeth out when I was 20 & driving lesson the same day. The instructor said it was the best I'd done in all the lessons I'd had so far!
