Hagar pulls a stroke

Well things are looking up (down and sideways). My cataract opp is booked for Monday 24th so I will have one fully seeing eye, subject to passing a pre-op tomorrow. The eye that was zapped by the aneurism is still partially sighted and I can read large print books with a slight difficulty. i may be back on the pushbike in a a couple of weeks or so.

I did consider having a private opp but the NHS have done a good timely treatment over the past few weeks although they may have outsourced the op, they often do for cataracts I believe.

There are people far worse off than me. I append this thread as a timeline, when things turnaround a bit. It is gratifying to have best wishes, I shall pass them on in due course. I don't think that I will drive or at least until I get full eyesight with glasses. I had hardly a day off work before retirement. Then there was the prostate, then covid, then this aneurism, getting old is a bummer.
:)

I just look at what my old man had wrong with him and I'm ticking them off one by one.

It sucks that things start to break down but you're still here. That's a good start.
