woo, someone else whose mastered(well not really) one small aspect of one game, and refuses to play in any other way.

you either say you're good at a game and have anyone come and challenge you at that game, at any part of that game. or run around saying, i think i'm a great sniper, i'll take anyone on only at sniping, because thats all i'm good at.


also, sniping, in a game with big maps, places to hide and insisting you can only do it when people can only move slowly(no vehicles, for the love of god no vehicles) isn't exactly a huge thing to boast about.

so far pretty much all games give an unfair advantage to snipers, still not sure why. hitboxes seem to mean nothing in most online shooters when it comes to sniping. which, is just a tad unfair. the idea is that you're scoped and vunerable, shockingly the guys testing/designing games don't tend to be stat whores and will VARY the way they play so they make sniping powerful but vunerable on the idea they they wouldn't run as far away as possible and camp, but help properly in a team game. then a game goes into the wild, and people wanting to bump their stats ignore their team, run off into a corner and snipe people, then refuse to play anyone unless theres basically no chance they would run around behind and shoot them.



and BB signature, yes, is a bad bad bad and embarrasing thing. for a second i was considering defending it, because i thought it was a BB says, and just listed all the utterly stupid stuff they say. but clicking on it, i realised it wasn't a joke showing how stupid they were, but simply any old thing they say.
 
i play as part of an 8 or so member clan, 3 of which are snipers and i can tell you we dont just run off on our own, most of the the time ill sit a bit away with an l96 and defend flags or ill pop off people trying to defend flags so my team can take them.

hell ill one to one anyone on any map on any gametype, but ill be using a sniper rifle.

"Zomg guys hes taking a cap point!?! pick him off from a distance! OH NOES HE HACE METALS, CHEAT0R"

I can't believe i just got involved in this thread. Oh well, while i'm here, Earaser, you had this coming, you're not '1337', i bet i could beat that score and i haven't played BF2 in years.

Do buy BF2, it's a brilliant game. What's not so brilliant is people creating threads to display their frankly pathetic scores.
