Without a doubt. the VERY BEST single player game ive EVER played.

I dont know how it would fare now. Graphics being dated might spoil it a bit for me, however on release this was truely and utterly the greatest PC game ever.

Indeed. Never finished the first one, i did finish blueshift though and it was brilliant.

I used a friends account to do the main story hl2 as well, never played ANY counterstrikes though, or deathmatches, or portals

And I call myself an FPS gamer

i've played all the hl games except blue shift, don't want to pay $5 +vat etc for it though, waht would it end up costing?
