Can someone explain to me why Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition which is supposedly fully raytraced runs pretty good but all these much older revamped Nvidia RTX titles run like ***
The raytraced lighting looked nice in that video above but the biggest improvement imo was the higher resolution textures and vastly improved models

Mediocre is a bit strong. It was an amazing game for it's time no doubt but it has been surpassed since. I would even say Black Mesa is a better game than HL2.

What? Not only does this make no sense, but Metro Exodus enhanced was released 10 months before the Ukraine war.
