Makes me laugh people saying this is unplayable. As evidenced, it's perfectly playable on a variety of hardware at the appropriate settings that your GPU is capable of... It's almost like people don't realise you can adjust the settings. And incredibly there are still people who refuse to use upscaling even with the latest transformer model![]()
Tried it on mine. 1080p medium setting, upscaling off, 26fps. Not worth it looked grainy and also crashed a few times.Might give this a go on my 7900XT just for a laugh

Power that you have, you mean, it's not the devs fault if your hardware is underpowered? Did you also moan when Crysis came out and nobody could run it etc?Grainy, crappy, not worth even trying.
I thought that it would look good and run smoothly but its waste of time. No point releasing something like that when there is no power to run it.
No, i did not moan on Crysis, I played it smoothlyLooks like it's the undervolt/oc that causes the crashing, weirdly played all of Raven earlier and no crash, but 3 mins into nova and crash. Turned off UV/OC and only did 80% power limit and zero crashes, fans a bit louder than before which is expected but otherwise all good, framerate appears to remain similar so will just leave it like this. First game to not like UV/OC!
Now half way through Nova and stuck in a bit after the gates are opened and there's a sentry in the corner behind a table. Only got 18% health so think I'll have to redo Nova and retain more health
:Look how excellent it looks:

Butter smooth too and zero stutters or frame time issues. Roll on the full release soon.

Yeah I'm still blown away with how good dlss performance with Transformer model looks in KCD2. Changing it to balanced or quality is just pointless, at least to my eyes. Everything looks so sharp and clear. I accidentally used the old model after the patch and could immediately see the downgrade, dlss4 is fantastic. You can use DLSS Performance if on a 4K output, it's as visually good as Quality of old since we are now on DLSS 4, there's no real need to use DLSS Quality or Balanced any more when outputting 4K. 1440p a different story of course.
Only RTX cards can use Ray Reconstruction and the Neural Rendering Cache so that could explain any complaints about "grain" or "noise" I guess. Also not being on DLSS4 will make a visual impact for the worse .
